A luxurious blend of kid mohair and mulberry silk. Named after the Seal Maidens of Celtic mythology, it is both soft and shimmery like seal fur. Selkie is spun with a silk core and a heavier mohair that is fantastic for outerwear sweaters, mittens, blankets; the options are endless.
Hand-dyed yarns can vary significantly between dye lots, and even within one dye lot. Please order more than enough for your project in order to avoid disappointment since this is a limited edition yarn. We cannot guarantee that hand-dyed skeins in the same colourway will match, nor can we guarantee that hand-dyed yarn will be exactly as pictured.
