At Beehive Wool Shop, community is at the heart of everything we do. Through the Beehive Fibre Arts Centre, we offer a dedicated space for people to come together, share skills, and build meaningful connections.
We’re delighted to offer our space for private bookings for community groups and organizations looking for a warm, creative, and welcoming environment.
Whether you’re planning a social stitching circle, a community meet-up, a nonprofit gathering, or a creative group session, we’d love to help you create something meaningful.
A space for community-minded gatherings
Our space is primarily available for non-commercial, community-focused gatherings, including:
- knitting, crochet, and handwork groups
- community organizations and nonprofits
- social crafting events
- small group meet-ups centered on creativity and connection
If your gathering is rooted in community, creativity, and care, you’ll feel right at home here. If you’re looking to host a commercial event, private workshop, or ticketed experience, we’d still love to hear from you — we offer separate options for those and can share more details.
Consider a donation of $10-50 based on your occupancy needs; this goes toward the ongoing upkeep of the space for everyone in the community.
Donation-based, community-first
We offer our space through donation-based booking for non-commercial groups. If your group isn’t able to make a donation at this time, that’s absolutely okay — please don’t let that stop you. We believe everyone should have access to a space to gather, and we warmly encourage you to reach out.

When you reach out, it’s helpful to include:
- the name of your group or organization
- the type of gathering you’re planning
- your preferred date and time
- the approximate number of attendees
