August 27th 2025: New Shipping Policy for US Customers
New US Laws require all duties and customs be prepaid upon entry to the United States Postal Service. As such, all prices displayed to US-based customers now include an additional 40% surcharge. The Beehive Wool Shop will pay the duty on behalf of the customer and provide a Declaration ID to US Customs.
Note that the Beehive is not responsible for packages that do not clear customs as a result of shifting US policy. In the event that your package is returned to us, the buyer will be refunded the cost of the yarn less the 40% duty surcharge and all associated shipping fees.
This policy is subject to change based on updates to US or Canadian import/export laws. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to adapt our policies in this fast-changing environment.

We ship to Canada and the USA with Canada Post / USPS and UPS.
Shipping time estimates are calculated from the date that Canada Post receives your parcel, not the date that you place your order. See Canada Post's website for shipping time estimates to Canada and the United States.
We typically ship twice per week. Order cutoff times are Monday at 9AM PDT/PST for Tuesday pick-up, and Thursday 9AM PDT/PST for Friday pick-up. These pick up days may be impacted by weather, federal holidays, etc.

Shipping Rates Within Canada
Please wait for your Ready for Pickup email notice before coming to the store. We balance online order picking with in-store needs, and are working to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. Feel free to call the shop at 250-385-2727 if a rush pick-up is required.
Abandoned Orders: paid orders are held for 30 calendar days, after which unclaimed orders will be refunded to the original method of payment and items returned for resale. As per our return policy, clearance items and yarn that has been wound are not eligible for refund, and if surrendered these items will be donated to charity. Please get in touch if you have special circumstances - we are happy to make exceptions to allow for travel dates, etc.
