Materials: Students who sign up for a class get a 15% discount for the first project purchased for a class. Materials should be purchased prior to the first day of class. If materials are included in the course fee, additional supply discounts are not available.
Refunds: Full Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the start of a class.
Signups: All students must be registered through the website to prevent double-booking.
Classes at the Beehive Wool Shop are intended for adults (16+).
Perfumes and Colognes: Classes at the Beehive are a low or no scent space.
Please be on time: To ensure that classes start on time please arrive a minimum of 5 minutes ahead of class start time. We recommend allowing extra time to ensure that you are able find parking in busy downtown Victoria.
Missing classes: Students must attend the first session in order to attend a class. Because our classes are so short, missing a class is not recommended. If it is unavoidable, please email the Beehive as soon as possible, and inform the teacher if possible.
Cancellation of classes: The Beehive Wool Shop reserves the right to cancel a class if the minimum registration is not met (4 persons) or in the event of other unavoidable occurrences. Students are eligible for full refunds if their class is cancelled.
Student Ability: Students are responsible to honestly assess their skillset. The Beehive and our teachers are not responsible for students enrolling in classes they do not have the required skills to complete, and doing so may result in the student being unable to complete the class or the project.
If you are uncertain which class will best suit your skill level please contact the class co-ordinator.
All sales are final on books, patterns, clearance items, and skeins wound into balls.

The Beehive Wool Shop aims to create a welcoming space where customers, staff and students can be comfortable. This means a space free from discrimination based on race, class, sex, gender, size, sexuality, physical or mental ability, appearance or social standing. We take discrimination and harassment of staff and fellow customers very seriously.
Rest assured that we would never ship out a mixed dye lot order without checking with you first! You can order large quantities without worry, and we will contact you if there are any mismatched dye lots so you can make an informed decision.
We check every ball before shipping to prevent errors. If you received a mixed dye lot order in error, let us know so that we can remedy the situation.
Please be aware that dye lots may not apply to hand-dyed skeins, and that large variation can occur within the same dye lot. We do not assume responsibility for dye variations in hand dyed skeins. We encourage you to alternate skeins every 2-or-so rows to prevent striping or pooling when knitting with hand-dyes.
Don’t fret! Simply send us an email, or call us Toll-Free at 1-888-334-9005 and we would be happy to amend your order. Depending on the type of error made, we may cancel your order and send you an updated invoice or send you a separate invoice with the desired items. Please note that changes to your order may change the amount you are charged for shipping or the day your package ships.
We have taken every precaution to ensure that colours are accurately represented in all our photography; however each monitor will display colours differently. Furthermore, colour changes may occur as a result of dye lot or manufacturing change.
We ship to Canada and the United States via Canada Post. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Free shipping is available in Canada only for orders over $150.00 before taxes.
