Here on the West coast, it's always best to be prepared against the fresh sea breezes. This toque knits up in a flash and helps to keep the Pacific Ocean chill at bay. We topped our sample with a whimsical pom pom, but it looks just as handsome without.

Approx. 73 (80, 85) m / 80 (88, 93) yds of bulky-weight yarn, plus approx. 12 m (13 yd) for a
10 cm (4") pom pom.
Sample shown is size small and used 1 ball of Estelle Gemstone Merino Bulky in 'Love Potion'
GAUGE
12 sts x 19 rows = 10 cm (4”), on larger needles in stockinette stitch after blocking.
NEEDLES
Your choice for small circumference knitting: DPNs; 2 x 40 cm (16”) circular needles; or 1 x 80-100 cm (32-40”) circular needle for magic loop.
Main Needle: 7.0 mm (US 10.75) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Ribbing Needle:6.5 mm (US 10.5) or one size smaller than main needle.
