Position details:

· Job Type: Part-Time
· Schedule: 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available throughout the fall/winter season. Upon request, reduced hours may be available April-July.

Beehive Wool Shop is looking for a detail-oriented and friendly team member to join our small, close-knit staff. This role is focused on stocking shelves and maintaining accurate inventory counts. This is a great fit for someone who loves fiber crafts and enjoys hands-on organizational work.

Key Responsibilities
• Shelve yarn and product from backstock and incoming shipments
• Keep the store organized, tidy, and visually appealing, including restocking shelves and maintaining displays
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Maintain organized, well-labeled displays and storage areas
• Sticker and/or repackage products for sale
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process purchases and access inventory information
• Provide a warm, welcoming experience for all customers
• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks (lifting, stocking, standing for extended periods, climbing stairs)
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with counting and organization
• Reliable, punctual, and proficient in English
• Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of yarn or textiles
• Previous retail or inventory experience
• Experience with Shopify or similar point-of-sale systems
