Class Program and Online Order Coordinator

Beehive Wool Shop is looking for a Class Program and Online Order Coordinator to join our team!

Position details:

  • Full time position, hybrid work available
  • Wage range: $22-26 per hour, based on experience

Job responsibilities include:

Classes and Workshops Management:

  • Collaborate with educators and stakeholders to develop new classes and workshops,
    reflecting current trends and seasonal interests.
  • Schedule and monitor class registrations, actively promoting them in coordination
    with our social media team.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate class schedules and supply inventories.
  • Ensure all class information is consistently updated on the Beehive website, in-store
    displays, and internal communications.
  • Gather and relay feedback from participants to improve the quality and
    effectiveness of our educational offerings.
  • Respond promptly to all customer inquiries related to classes and registrations,
    maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Troubleshoot first-tier technical issues with Shopify/Shopify POS and other third-
    party applications.


Online Order Fulfillment:

  • Manage the processing and fulfillment of online orders while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to all customer inquiries related to orders, product questions,
    and our loyalty program, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Troubleshoot first-tier technical issues with Shopify/Shopify POS and other third-
    party applications.
  • Coordinate with the shipping team to meet all dispatch deadlines, prepare orders for shipping or pickup, and ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately using Shopify and other order fulfillment programs.
  • Manage customer holds, pre-orders, and in-store pickup orders, ensuring that communication with customers is clear and timely.

  • Stays organized under pressure, seamlessly juggling multiple deadlines, class schedules, and order fulfillment priorities without losing track of details
  • Embraces technology and learns new systems quickly, feeling comfortable navigating e-commerce platforms, POS systems, and various software applications
  • Takes initiative in problem-solving, anticipating potential issues before they arise and proactively implementing solutions
  • Values collaboration, working effectively with educators, the social media team, shipping staff, and fellow team members to achieve shared goals
  • Brings creative thinking to program development, staying current with fiber arts trends and identifying opportunities to expand our educational offerings
  • Maintains composure and flexibility, adapting gracefully when priorities shift and remaining positive when handling customer concerns or technical challenges

Assets:

  • Previous experience with Shopify and Shopify POS systems or similar e-commerce platforms
  • Background in program coordination, event planning, or educational programming
  • Experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality environments
  • Familiarity with order fulfillment, inventory management, or shipping logistics
  • Knowledge of or enthusiasm for fiber arts
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar productivity tools
  • Demonstrated excellent written communication skills 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends to support class schedules or special events
