Mending is a simple skill that can extend the lifespan of a beloved garment, allowing you to continue wearing it for years to come while keeping textile waste out of landfill.
In this beginner friendly workshop, students will learn some basic mending techniques to repair their knitwear. Show off your creativity with visible mending or do a subtle mend to compliment the original fabric.
Students are required to purchase their own supplies. Students get a 15% discount on materials purchased at the Beehive.
Note: This workshop is hosted in partnership with Ecologyst and will take place at their store location (552 Johnson St).
