Knitting Level 4: My First Sweater

Loading...

You have mastered the basics, knit some small projects, and can knit to gauge; so now it’s time to tackle your first sweater!

In this class you will create your own version of theSimple Sweater pattern by Tin Can Knits. This versatile pattern can be made in a variety of sizes (newborn - 6XL), so you can knit it for yourself or a loved one.

Students are required to purchase their own yarn, needles, pattern, and notions. Students get a 15% discount on materials purchased for their class.

For this class, you must also have knit, blocked, and achieved gauge with your swatch before your first class. Please bring your swatch to class. If you are not familiar with the concept of gauge or how it affects fabric, we recommend taking our swatching workshop first.

Run time

5 sessions x 1.5 hours. This class runs every other week to allow time to knit your sweater in between sessions.
