Trusty Toque: Bottom-Up

Format
The perfect quick-knit hat! We’ve written this pattern for three weights of yarn, for ultimate flexibility, and included directions to make the size that fits you best. Ribbed toques also make great gifts as their stretchiness allows them to fit a variety of heads. We bet you can’t make just one!

This pattern is available for free when you spend $15 or more on the yarn to make it. Add all items to your cart and use discount code Trusty-Toque.

FINISHED SIZE

Our toques have a 10 cm (4”) folded brim resulting in a finished depth of approx. 21.5 cm (8.5”) and width of approx. 19 cm (7.5”); measured laying flat and unstretched, after blocking.

The pattern is designed with approx. 10 cm (4”) of negative ease, due to the stretchiness of ribbed fabric. Directions for adjusting the circumference and depth of the hat are included in the pattern.
