Teens Level 0: Intro to Crochet

Loading...

Welcome to the wonderful world of crochet! This class is for teens ages 13-18 who have not picked up a hook before.

Learn the basics of crochet in a low-pressure, barrier-free environment. Emphasis is placed on the connection between crafting and mindfulness practices. The necessary materials are included in the cost of the course and will be provided in the first class.

Classes are held during shop hours in small groups of up to six students, led by an experienced instructor. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we ask that participants are able to sit calmly and engage respectfully throughout the session. These are drop-off classes designed specifically for children and youth—parents and caregivers do not stay during class time. Students are supervised at all times, but we ask that parents ensure their child is comfortable in a small group setting before registering. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before class begins and pick up promptly at the end of the session.
