The Beehive Wool Shop invites you to a visit with dear friends Kit Hutchin and John Koval from the Churchmouse Studio (now in Kingston, WA, 30 miles from their old shop on Bainbridge Island) for two special events. Kit Hutchin is the knitwear designer and co-owner of Churchmouse Studio, formerly Churchmouse Yarns & Teas, which just celebrated its 25th anniversary. John Koval is Kit's husband and partner who operates their popular online store and marketing endeavours.

On Friday, September 12th, please join us for a drop-in Meet & Greet in the shop where we can gather with our projects, old and new, and chat with Kit about all things patterns, yarn, and Churchmouse. This will be followed by an exclusive presentation at City Hall (1 Centennial Square, Victoria, BC), from 6-7:30pm, where
Kit will share the Churchmouse origin story, her history with the Beehive, her approach to pattern design and coaching, and a trunk show with pieces to try on.

Kit's thoughtful and timeless designs have been long-time Beehive and customer favourites, with dozens of patterns sampled and re-sampled in our shop. We are excited to have the opportunity to share Kit and John's talent and experience in knitwear design and entrepreneurship with members of our community.
