All classes at the Beehive take place at our shop in downtown Victoria. We do not offer online classes at this time. 

Do you dream of making your own one-of-a-kind garments and accessories? Do you enjoy creating thoughtful and practical gifts for friends and family? Do you see patterns that you long to make, only to be frustrated when you don’t have the skills to complete them?  

If you answered “Yes!” to any of these questions, our classes were designed with you in mind! Whether you are a needle-arts novice or a full-fledged fibre enthusiast, our teachers are excited to help you approach your next project with confidence.

Our classes are divided into 4 skill levels:

• Level 1 is designed exclusively for students who have never attempted this craft before. In these classes, you will learn foundation skills that are expanded upon in later levels.
• Level 2 builds upon foundation skills by introducing you to techniques such as shaping and working in the round in order to build your confidence in pattern selection.
• Level 3 introduces projects that rely on your understanding of gauge and how it affects your fabric, as well as more advanced pattern stitches
• Level 4 is for experienced knitters and crocheters who are looking for a new challenge with advanced stitch techniques and higher difficulty projects.
