Haunui Silk

A delicious blend of single source merino wool from New Zealand and luxurious raw mulberry silk. The Haunui merino sheep are a mixed breed specific to the Taranui Farm in New Zealand. This undyed yarn highlights the amazing array of colours found in the natural fleece of these sheep. The yarn combines these naturally rich shades to create subtle blends. This single ply yarn has a thick and thin quality. 

• 330 m / 360 yds / 150 g 
• 16-18 sts = 4" on a 4.5-5 mm / US 7-8
• 65% Wool, 35% Silk 
• Hand wash cool. Lay flat to dry.
