Crochet Level 2: Textured Toque

Welcome back! If you've conquered the basics covered in our Crochet Level 1 class, you are ready for Crochet Level 2. 

In this course, you will make a toque to expand your crochet skillset.

The pattern is provided for this class, but students are required to purchase their own yarn, hook, and notions. Students receive a discount code for 15% off of the supplies for their class.

You will learn how to:

• Increase and decrease
• Use the magic ring technique
• Follow a pattern and understand common abbreviations
• Lateral braid (work into the 3rd loop)
• Combine single crochet and half double crochet for textured fabric
• Work in the round with slip stitch method
• Attach a border to another piece of fabric

You should know how to:

• Chain
• Single crochet
• Half double crochet
• Recognize stitches

You need to bring:

• 4.5 mm (US 7) crochet hook
• Approx. 25g spare yarn in a similar weight yarn for learning
• Approx. 275 m of a DK/light worsted weight yarn. Light or bright colours are preferred. Eg.
