Checkerboard Baby Blanket Kit in Linum

Linum is a soft cotton blended yarn with a 20% recycled linen content. Along with knitting up quickly, this worsted weight blanket has a lovely drape and a satisfying balance of colours. 

We used the most basic form of intarsia in this blanket, working half in one colour and switching to a second- but don't worry- we've got guidance in the pattern to help you if this is a new technique!

Kit includes: 4 balls of Concept by Katia Linum and the Checkerboard Baby Blanket pattern.

• Creamsicle: 2 balls each of #50 Off-White and #55 Pastel Orange
• Cumulus: 2 balls each of #50 Off-White and #58 Pastel Blue
• Earthen:2 balls each of #56 Ivory and #53 Light Green
• First Light: 2 balls each of #51 Rose and #59 Grey
• Sea Spray: 2 balls each of #64 Black Green and #50 Off-White
  

Skills Required: Stockinette stitch and seed stitch (knit and purl), basic intarsia (instructions provided)

Finished Size: Approx 56 x 65 cm (22 x 25.5").
Needles and Notions: Purchased separately.

• 4.5-5.0mm (US 7-8), 80cm (32") circular needle, or size needed to achieve gauge
• Tapestry/Darning Needle
• Wool Wash
• Blocking tools (Wool wash, T-pins or Knit Blockers and optional: Blocking Wires)
