Knitting Level 3: Lace Shawl

You have mastered the basics, have knit some small projects, and are ready to enter the world of lace knitting! 

In this class, you will acquire advanced knitting skills by making a wonderfully cozy triangular shawl. Having classes bi-weekly gives you time to work on your shawl between sessions. 

Length: 4 sessions x 1.5 hours

Pattern: Miraflores by Nicole Bottles (Provided)

You will learn how to:

• Increases and Decreases
• Garter Tab cast on
• Stretchy Bind off
• Introduction to chart reading
• Best-practices in finishing
• How to block a shawl

You should know how to:

• The Knit and Purl stitches
• At least one cast on and bind off method.
• Completion of a few simple projects
